端午節到了，別光顧著吃，來學一些相關的英文用法吧！

(字面上，dragon boat 是龍舟，festival 是節日。）

I watched the dragon boat races at Anping Harbor a few years ago.

粽子：sticky rice dumplings
(字面上，sticky rice 是糯米，dumplings 是餃子。我知道這個英文有點不配中文，但以前西方人就把這個東西叫做 sticky rice dumplings, 現在已經改不了了！)
I think I’m going to make some sticky rice dumplings with my mom this year.
(我今年大概會跟媽媽包些粽子。)

愛國：patriotic

自殺：commit suicide
跳河：commit suicide by jumping into a river.
Qu Yuan committed suicide by jumping into a river.
(屈原跳河了。)
漁夫/漁人/漁民：fisherman, fishermen
Fishermen threw sticky rice dumplings into the river to protect his body.
(為了保護他的屍體，漁民把粽子丟到河裡。)
